Repairs
With over 60 years of experience in repairing vibrating screens, there is little we haven't seen. If no one else can fix your machine, we want to try.
Refurbishing
Sometimes, even an old machine is more reliable than a new one. For these machines, we offer a refurbishing program that that will make the machine run like new again.
Design
RMI normally does not charge engineering fees. If there is something that needs to be modified in your plant or on your screen, we would do the engineering free of charge.
Diagnostic
In some cases, a diagnostic is what is actually needed, instead of a quick replacement of parts. We love finding solution to your mechanical problems, to avoid future downtime and expenses.

Examples
Old jaw crusher eccentric shaft
In this case, the bearings of this crusher seized and the shaft kept spinning. a crack in the shaft and the wear of the bearing fitting, made the shaft irreparable.
Replacement shaft
Within 7 days, we managed to make a new shaft, despite not having the drawings to begin with. The OEM quoted 5 months and 40% more money.
Bearing housing replacement
It takes RMI about 1 month to complete a custom made vibrating screen bearing housing. All of the manufacturing is done right here in our Montreal facility.
When OEM leadtimes and prices reach the international space station, we will manufacture the parts for you. If we do not have the drawings, we will do the engineering free of charge.
We are usually faster, better in quality and better priced than the OEM.
